The first work a stranger can check, one scroll down
Change 1 of 3
Show the work on the first screen.
- What a stranger sees
- The first screen is the headline, the price, two buttons and three small promises. The first piece of work, a screenshot of the hotel’s site, starts 779 pixels down: exactly where the WhatsApp bar sits on a 390 × 844 phone. A stranger sees none of it until they scroll. When it arrives it is 313 pixels wide, with the NZ practice’s phone beside it at 107.
- Why it matters
- The site’s whole argument is “open them yourself”. In the first screen a stranger decides whether to keep reading, and at that moment they have only the site’s word for it. A web designer’s site is judged by the work first.
- The change
- Put one client’s real site, on a phone, straight under the headline, large enough to read, before the buttons. Say whose it is and give the address, so it can be opened.
- The smallest version
- Move the hotel’s screenshot above the two buttons and let it run the full width of the phone.
